9/28/02 Below is a photo of Max after nine days on Haldol. Note the down at his vent. There are feather shafts growing around
the crop and his left breast. Prior to this, Max was plucked completely bare. Every shaft was yanked before it had a chance
to grow. He has now taken to destroying his cage accessories. He dumps bowls, shreds tray liners, knocks perches to the ground,
etc. Better to destroy his cage than his body!
February 1, 2002: Max's plucking is worsening. He is currently on Doxepin, which has greatly reduced his anxiety and returned
his personality to somewhat normal.

February 2, 2002: Max was x-rayed last week to determine if he had an enlarged proventriculus. The x-ray revealed a "petite"
poventriculus - much to my delight!
Below is a typical plucked feather. They are not yet fully formed when he plucks them.
