Jade (top) and Bobo 9/20/02

Jade is dancing.

Jade (on top of cage) is a Maxmillian's Pionus. He is the only one of my parrots that does not speak. He likes to perch on my head. He loves to terrorize the other parrots even though two of them are bigger than he.

Bobo (perched on the cage door) is a Lilac Crown Amazon. He was a rescue parrot. He speaks and sings, but in a parrot voice instead of a human voice. (The other parrots use either my voice or my husband's voice when they speak.)

Max is a Blue Crown Conure and is the oldest (and smallest) of the flock. Max only says, "Hello" and "Step Up" but uses other vocalizations to communicate. He is the most loveable, but unfortunately hates everybody but me. He wasn't feeling well when this photo was taken, but he was a good boy and posed nicely.

Above and below are Tres Jolie, Max and Jade dancing to music from Greece. Hubby is adding to the festivities by whistling.

Bobo likes to sit on the pencil drawer and toss everything out of the drawer!

Above is my second attempt at parrot sweater making, and Max hated this one so much that he rolled onto his back and stayed there. I may have to give up making parrot sweaters!

Max is modeling my first parrot sweater. Needless to say, it wasn't a big success.
