I was born in 1950 in Los Angeles. I have lived in this area my entire life. I now reside in West Covina with my parrots, two dogs and my husband.

At age 48 I decided to go back to college for a degree. Because of a busy work schedule, I take one class per semester. I took a break for two semesters due to surgery on my arm, but I'm back on track again. This semester I think I may have picked two rather difficult subjects, so I'll see how it goes!

Here I am with my loveable, but shy, five year old Blue Crown Conure, Max. He loves to be on my shoulder, and hates it when people come into the bird room and talk to me.

Some of my favorite things to do are reading, knitting, reading bird periodicals, haning out in the bird room, surfing the 'net, and traveling.

The best books I've read are Anapurna by Maurice Herzog and Dear and Glorious Physician by Taylor Caldwell. My favorite authors are Dean Koontz, Robert Ludlum, and Robin Cook.

Countries I have visited include Canada, England,
Italy, France, Spain, Germany,
Austria, Switzerland, Holland,
Costa Rica, Colombia, Aruba,
Mexico, Nova Scotia and
the other end of Canada.

Past trips included an
11-day cruise to Alaska
with my mother in May 2002, and a cruise to the
Eastern Caribbean in October 2002 with my husband.

Upcoming in May 2003 is a week in Cancun - A favorite place of ours.
